Thomas J. (Tim) Rennie, CPA
After working in industry as an accountant, controller and internal auditor, Tim began his practice of public accounting in 1985 with a small office in Ligonier. He has served a variety of family owned, small businesses and individuals with tax preparation and advisory services. He also provides audit and financial statement services to local governments and not for profit agencies.

Tim has served as President of the PICPA Southwestern Chapter and continues, on the state level, as a council member. He has also been president of the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce and Ligonier Rotary Club.

Tom is the Partner in Charge of our Greensburg office. His primary disciplines include complex tax return preparation & review, tax planning, transactional services, facilitating income tax audits and tax provision calculations. He works with large privately help companies, small to mid-sized closely held entities and individuals.

Prior to joining the firm, Tom spent six years at Cornwell Jackson (CJ) a large regional CPA firm in Dallas, Texas. He acted as senior tax manager at CJ and managed the firm’s largest business clients and their respective ownership groups. While at CJ, he was involved in large corporate compliance and consulting, large partnership compliance and consulting, IRS representation, transactional and structural design, litigation support and estate planning.

Prior to serving at CJ, Tom spent five years at another large local firm in Dallas, Texas. He worked in the tax services group at the firm working with small to medium size businesses assisting with income, payroll and sales and use taxes.

He is a member of the AICPA, PICPA, AICPA - PCPS and currently serves on the PICPA Southwestern Chapter Executive Committee.
